A new exhibit, on display at Stony Brook University, is bringing music to your ears and eyes.
The exhibition at the Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery features more than 1,000 record covers by some of the greatest designers, artists and photographers of their times, including Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali and Richard Prince.
The exhibit also features albums on loan from the school’s radio station, 90.1 FM WUSB, collected over 55 years, since the station was established back in 1962.
“From the students, we have got a lot of good feedback from too because even though the majority of them have never owned a record, there are a large percentage that do have records,” Gallery and Community Relations Assistant Samantha Clink said.
The exhibit is on display until July 30.
