Join us for a series of tours, discussions and talks about the exhibition NOT READY TO MAKE NICE: Guerrilla Girls in the Artworld and Beyond. The Guerrilla Girls are an anonymous collective of feminist artists who have been taking the artworld by storm for over thirty years. On view at the Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery at Stony Brook University through October 22, the exhibition features banners, posters, slideshows and more. Appearing only in gorilla masks and using the names of dead women artists, this historically important group of activist artists use “facts, humor and fake fur” to bring attention to injustices in the artworld and beyond.

All events are free and open to the public. Let your voice be heard in our interactive exhibitions and online @ZuccaireGallery or @pwzgallery.

Not Ready to Make Nice is curated by Neysa Page-Lieberman and circulated by Columbia College Chicago. The Stony Brook University presentation is organized by Karen Levitov.
