Art Department Alumnus Jeremy Dennis (BA Studio Art ’13) was selected as one of Stony Brook Alumni Association’s 40 Under Forty, showcasing forty individuals under forty years of age who have made an impact after graduating from Stony Brook University.
Artist Jeremy Dennis graduated with a BA in Studio Art in 2013 and received an MFA from Penn State University in 2016. Through his photographic work, he creates conversations about indigenous identity, assimilation and tradition, often referencing the cinematic mythology of indigenous peoples.
Jeremy Dennis’ video “Hearthless” was included in the Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery’s exhibition RACE, LOVE AND LABOR and he gave a Salon presentation in the Gallery in September 2017.
