Assistant to the Dean
AnnaMaria is an administrative and communications professional with more than 15 years of experience in higher and professional education and the not-for-profit sector. Prior to joining SBU, she served as an office administrator with responsibilities in internal and external communications, facilities and operations, financial reporting, and event organization.
Within higher education, AnnaMaria has supported and coordinated initiatives in the areas of events planning, student recruitment, admissions, program delivery, assessment and quality assurance at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She holds a BS in Government and Politics with a minor in Spanish Literature and Translation from the University of Maryland at College Park, a graduate diploma in Public Relations, and an MBA from Nottingham Business School.
