The Tomb of Ferdowsi ( آرامگاه فردوسی ) is a tomb complex composed of a white marble base, and a decorative edifice erected in honor of the Persian poet Ferdowsi located in Tus, Iran , in Razavi Khorasan province . It was built in the early 1930s, under the Reza Shah , and uses mainly elements of Achaemenid architecture to demonstrate Iran's rich culture and history. The construction of the mausoleum as well as its aesthetic design is a reflection of the cultural, and geo-political status of Iran at the time.

It's located near the Mausoleum of Omar Khayyám . ʿAṭṭār ( عطار , Attar means apothecary ), was a Persian poet, theoretician of Sufism , and hagiographer from Nishapur who had an immense and lasting influence on Persian poetry and Sufism . Manṭiq-uṭ-Ṭayr [ The Conference of the Birds ] and Ilāhī-Nāma [ The Book of Divine ] are among his most famous works.
Gonbad-e Qabus is a monument in Gonbad-e Qabus , Iran , and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2012. It marks the grave of Ziyarid ruler Qabus ( r. 978–1012), and was built during his lifetime in 1006/7. It is a cylindrical tomb tower that reaches c. 61 metres (200 feet) and can be seen from some 30 kilometres (19 miles) away. The eponymous city is named after the monument.
The Mausoleum of Avicenna is a complex located at Avicenna Square, Hamadan, Iran. Dedicated to the Iranian polymath Avicenna, the complex includes a library, a small museum, and a spindle-shaped tower inspired by the Ziyarid-era Kavus Tower. It was buit in 1953 by the Iranian Monuments Society on the occasion of the philosopher's millenial birth anniversary.

Also contained within the complex are the Goharshad Mosque , a museum , a library , four seminaries , a cemetery, the Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, a dining hall for pilgrims, vast prayer halls, and other buildings.
The Shrine of Fatima Masumeh is located in Qom, which is considered by Shia Muslims to be the second most sacred city in Iran after Mashhad. Fatima Masumeh was the sister of the eighth Imam Reza and the daughter of the seventh Imam Musa al-Kadhim.
