The Zuccaire Gallery presents Art History & Crafts an arts and crafts event led by the Zuccaire Gallery's student education team. Each program will include a brief presentation and exploration of an artist’s work, followed by an art-making activity.

The Developer’s Midnight Fantasy is a 2-week outdoor art installation by artist Annemaire Waugh that invites visitors to consider the fragility of nature through an imagined clear-cutting of the Ashley Schiff Preserve. 

The project will feature two live performances in the Ashley Schiff Preserve with music composed by Tommy Wu & Daniel Cohen and Performed by Stony Brook Music Ensemble and will feature the cello, violin, flute, mandolin, bassoon, and guitar (9/23). The second performance (9/29) will feature a dance ensemble performing the "Animals of the Forest." Directed by Amy Yopp Sullivan with costumes designed by Marta Baumiller.

Dos Mundos Panel Discussion

Join the Zuccaire Gallery for a panel discussion featuring artists Tau Battice, Laylah Amatullah Barrayn, and Cinthya Briones as well as curator Juanita Lanzo as they discuss their work in the exhibition Dos Mundos: (Re) Constructing Narratives. Moderated by History Professor Lori Flores.

Artist Talk: Antonio Pulgarín

Antonio Pulgarín is a Colombian-American lens-based artist who utilizes photography, photographic collage, and mixed media in his practice.
