The Zuccaire Gallery is proud to present the graduate student MFA Thesis Exhibition 2021 , opening March 22 and on view through April 16. In addition to the Gallery presentation, a link to the online exhibition will be available here.
The MFA Thesis Exhibition 2021 presents new work by Stony Brook University's graduating Master of Fine Arts students, Stuart Balius, Yifei Cheng, Marta Baumiller and Annemarie Waugh. All four artists are degree candidates in the Department of Art’s MFA program. The exhibition presents painting, sculpture, prints, photographs, video and installation art. The online exhibition also offers clickable links to details, artist statements and bios, and opportunities to connect virtually with the artists. The graduate student artists will speak about their work live in a virtual Salon Artist Talk, with the date to be announced. Links to the live and archived Salon Artist Talks will be available on this page. Please check back for updates.
The MFA Thesis Exhibition 2021 is accompanied by an illustrated catalog that includes artists’ statements and color images of each artist’s work. Artist interviews, high resolution images and a pdf of the exhibition catalog are available upon request.
