Residents
All first year resident students (excluding transfer students) are placed on the Wolfie Deluxe plan that includes:
- Unlimited Meal Swipes
- 500 Dining Dollars
- 5 Guest Meal Swipes
- 2 Take Out meals per day - learn about the SBU Eats Goes Green Take Out Meal Program
- 54 Roth Meal Exchanges per semester
Commuters
Meal plans are optional for students living in cooking rooms or on-campus apartments, graduate students and commuters. For details, visit the meal plan website
- Commuter/Apartment 900 ($900): 900 Dining Dollars, 10 Meal Swipes
- Commuter 550 ($500): 550 Dining Dollars

Shop for licensed Stony Brook University and Seawolves apparel, gifts and merchandise at our on campus stores: Shop Red West (located in the Melville Library) and Shop Red East (located in the Health Sciences building).

Student Health Insurance Waivers and Enrollment
Low deductibles, mental health care benefits, and full coverage at participating labs. If you already have health insurance you must complete a waiver in SOLAR prior to the beginning of EACH academic year. See webpage for deadlines.

Wolfie Wallet
Wolfie Wallet is a prepaid declining balance debit account on your campus ID (separate from the Meal Plan). You may use Wolfie Wallet at campus dining locations or to buy school supplies at Shop Red West (Melville Library), Shop Red East (Health Sciences) and at select on and off-campus merchants.

Rent a Locker
Securely store your belongings in conveniently located lockers within the Melville Library Study Lounge and the lower level of the Student Activities Center (SAC). Pay online and pick up your key at the ASA Services Office, located on the second floor of West Side Dining.
RENT A LOCKER
Microwave and Refrigerator Rentals
Specially designed for residence hall rooms, MicroFridge units offer plenty of space for both roommates.* Share the cost, and avoid the expense and hassle of purchasing, transporting, and storing a unit of your own.
*Sharing a MicroFridge is not required. Each resident may have their own if preferred.
MicroFridge rentals are available on a first come, first serve basis. If you would like to have the unit delivered to your room before move-in, be sure to place your order by August 1.
Students who have already rented microfridges should direct all inquiries or work orders directly to microfridge at 1-800-525-7307.
