OUR OBJECTIVES
The Campus Operations & Maintenance Department (COM), part of the Facilities & Services
Division at Stony Brook University, is proud to serve the diverse and vibrant Seawolf
community. We aim to:
- Maintain, service and improve campus buildings, grounds and infrastructure
- Provide and control campus-wide electric power and hot/cold water systems
- Save energy, reduce pollution and improve our impact on the natural environment
- Serve the campus community by continuously striving to improve ourselves, our interactions,
and our operations
Through each of our shops, COM is able to provide the essential services for operating and maintaining Stony Brook
University on its three campuses: Main Campus, Stony Brook Southampton, and the Research
and Development Park.
