Earthstock 2022

On Friday, April 22nd, the NYS Center for Clean Water Technology hosted a table at the 2022 Earthstock celebration at Stony Brook University for the first year. Center reserachers and graduate students demonstrated some of the Center's recent research and helped bring awareness to the importance of clean water solutions. 

Demonstrations included a Rapid Small Scale Column Test (RSSCT), which is used at the lab bench scale to explore the adsorption performance of selected adsorbents for the targeted aquatic pollutants, and an overview of where drinking water contaminants, like per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), come from and how they affect your health.
