HONORING EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION
Dr. Roberta Gerold will be presented with the Dr. Robert Moraghan Educator of the Year Award.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Dr. Roberta Gerold
Roberta Gerold is the Superintendent of the Middle Country Central School District, the chair of the Suffolk County School Superintendents Association’s Education Practices Committee, and a lifelong student of ethical leadership.
Prior to joining Middle Country, Roberta served as the Miller Place and then the Farmingdale School District Superintendent, as an Assistant Superintendent, a Director of Special Education, and as a Regional Associate for NYSED. She teaches graduate courses in school administration as well as workshops for aspiring administrators.
Throughout her almost forty years as a school administrator, Roberta has highlighted the importance of positive, ethical leadership in sustaining focus on the continuous improvement of public education.
Directions and Parking
The Wang Center is located at the main entrance to the University (Google Map). Free parking is available in the staff lot east of the Wang Center after 4:00 pm and in the administration garage after 7:00 pm.
