A Hub for Intellectual Exchange
The Charles B. Wang Center is an Asian-inspired venue ideal for hosting a variety of conferences and events. Its clean lines and open spaces bring the elements of the outdoors inside through multiple skylights, indoor pools and fountains, marble floors, and a glass wall overlooking a traditional Chinese garden. The building’s alcoves are enhanced by seasonal art exhibits designed to explore Asian & Asian American cultures.
A unique conference facility, the Center’s versatile 24,000-square-foot layout features 5 multi-purpose meeting rooms of varying sizes, 2 lecture halls, a fully equipped 239-seat theater as well as four open-air lobbies and a non-denominational chapel.
The Charles B. Wang Center can accommodate the varying needs of a conference with space for plenary sessions and breakout rooms, all offering audio visual support. The large open lobbies are ideal for general meeting areas or can accommodate receptions, lunches, breaks and dinners.
Located on the second floor, Jasmine is a full-service cafe offering an array of delicious, fresh, and seasonal Asian dishes. The Center has the capability to link scholars and researchers from all over the world in real time. Scholars, students, international business people, and Asian-American communities use the facility to build bridges of understanding, exchange information, and celebrate their cultural identities.
