    Dominique joined the University community in 2001 as an undergraduate transfer student studying sociology. Following graduation, she began working for Clinical Practice Management Plan at Stony Brook Hospital, and soon after began pursuing a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management. After receiving her graduate degree, she worked for several years in private industry as a recruiter before returning to Stony Brook where she worked as the Assistant to the Assistant Vice President & Office Manager for Campus Residences and the Department Administrator for Mechanical Engineering for a total of 11 years, before joining the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences as the Human Resources and Grants Manager.

    Dominique is an active member of the campus community and has served on various committees and volunteer assignments, most notably and recently, as an elected At-Large Senator for West Campus and an elected member of the Administrative Review Committee, both in the University Senate, and as an elected Professional Delegate and appointed Professional Grievance Officer for United University Professions Stony Brook Center Chapter. She is also the recipient of her former Division’s Outstanding Service Award in Spring 2014.

    Dominique enjoys working with faculty, staff and students in various capacities. When not working, she enjoys the beach, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
