Noel W Anderson: Black Excellence
June 29 - October 24, 2026
Noel W Anderson: Black Excellence, features tapestries, video, and works on paper exploring themes of Black success, labor, and performance. Organized by the University Art Museum, University at Albany, this exhibition features over 30 works, most notably stretched and suspended Jacquard tapestries depicting digitally altered archival and media images that the artist further manipulates through dyeing, staining, distressing and picking apart the textiles to "open up the image."
HOURS:
Open Monday-Friday 12-4pm, select Saturdays and evenings of Staller Center performances.
