The awards were presented at the Department of Art's Convocation Ceremony on Friday, May 22 in the Zuccaire Gallery. In addition to the Purchase Awards, seven students received Staller Center Awards for Excellence for their art works in the Senior Show: Kay Denton, Dakota Jordan, Tavleen Kaur, Lindsay Sadowski, Julia Skyba, Jonathan Yea and Ashley Yevick.

The juried Senior Show 2015 includes paintings, sculpture, ceramics, photographs, drawings, digital media, mixed-media installations and videos by senior art majors and minors. Faculty members of Stony Brook's Art Department selected the art works from among the best work of this year's graduating class.
