Parking and Directions


Parking: The Staller Center for the Arts is located digaonally across the plaza from the Administration Parking Garage, near the Main Entrance to Stony Brook University. Parking is free in the Administration Parking Garage for live season performances at Staller Center. There are also metered parking lots near Staller Center that are free on weekends and after 4pm weekdays. The Zuccaire Gallery is located on the first floor of the Staller Center through the doors marked ART. For additional information about parking at Stony Brook University, click here .

By car: GPS: Staller Center. Take the Long Island Expressway (495) to Exit 62 North-Nicolls Road (Rte. 97). Travel 9 miles north to the Main Entrance, West Campus of Stony Brook University. (Go past the South Campus entrance.) Turn left on Shirley Kenny Drive into the campus, follow the signs and proceed to the Parking Garage. Staller Center is diagonally across from the Administration Building.

By train: Take the Port Jefferson line of the Long Island Railroad to the Stony Brook station. Walk or take the shuttle bus to the Staller Center for the Arts. The Gallery is located on the first floor.

Handicap Parking

The Zuccaire Gallery is wheelchair accessible. Entrances with power-assist doors are located in front of the Staller Center and on the east side of the building. The gallery is located on the first floor. All restrooms are wheelchair accessible.

Handicap parking is available behind the Staller Center with a ramp leading to the east side of the building. A handicap drop off area is available by appointment in front of the Staller Center.
