Nobel Hall Wins Two AIA Design Awards
On October 19, 2011, Nobel Halls at Stony Brook University won two awards from the
AIA Long Island chapter - one for institutional design excellence, and another for
use of color in architecture. Nobel Halls, currently pursuing LEED NC Gold certification,
is Stony Brook University's first sustainable residence hall. Goshow Architects designed
the 600-bed, suite-style residence hall with a focus on natural daylight, excellent
indoor air quality, and the meticulous selection of sustainable building materials.
We were honored to collaborate with Stony Brook and DASNY on this important project.
A big congratulations is due to the entire team!
