    Student Feedback

    • "I would recommend future students to go into this experience with an open mind. It is best to not expect anything from this, just let things happen and really immerse yourself in the culture, language, and lifestyle of your host country.”- Glenda, Spring Semester
    • “I encourage everyone to study abroad. Also, to stay away from the American influences in the country which will be very hard to do but it will be rewarding.”- Olivia, Spring Semester
    • "You get a strange feeling when you're about to leave a place, like you'll not only miss the people you love, but you'll miss the person you are now at this time and place, because you'll never be this way ever again." - Sarah, Fall Semester

The experiential learning hours are fully supervised by instructors who track students step by step during their learning experience, monitor and advise according to student needs, and support student initiative. This unique learning model allows students to benefit from an all-encompassing educational experience based on theory and practice in real enterprises, learning of comprehensive operational processes, problem-solving, leadership, and management. Experiential Learning does NOT require that you speak Italian.

SPEL assignments require hours outside of the classroom which will be scheduled upon arrival in conjunction with the course faculty.
