One would think that prosperity follows the advancement of society, although in many ways this is not the case for everyday people. It is hard for me to not have a dystopian outlook when we are reporting record homelessness throughout the country, massive in\x1eation, increased climate disasters and vice versaand yet, there are more billionaires than ever before. While most of us shield our eyes, people still live in squalor and warfare. Regard for life has come secondary to money and pro\x1ftwere we really meant to live this way? These ideas in\x1euenced the form of the sculpture.20'
